Brass Band Schoonhoven appoints Robbert Vos as musical director of the A-Band

Brass band Schoonhoven was orientating in a solid way to find a replacement after the departure of Guy Audenaert six months ago. Guy formed, with Ivan Meijlemans, the management team since the departure of Erik Janssen in December 2014. Partly because of the busy schedule of Ivan, who next to brassband Schoonhoven also the conductor is of Royal Fanfare Kempenbloei from Achel (Belgium), Harmonieorkest St. Michaël from Thorn (Limburg) ) and the Zeeuws Orchestra, as well as being a highly appreciated and often invited international guest conductor and adjudicator, the band needs a structural completion besides Ivan.
Robbert Vos is of course a good acquaintance of the club because he has conducted the B orchestra for several years and Robbert also played a major role with the A orchestra as assistant conductor in the successful time under the baton of Erik Janssen. In addition, Robbert has been associated with the club for 11 years as a solo euphonium of the A band of the brassband from Silvertown Schoonhoven.
